Capstone Word Project The two men I am about to explain have shape the technology world drastically. Bill Gates and Steve Jobs are some of the biggest names in technology, they are digital pioneers. They founded their companies almost at the same time, both being the leaders in their fields they have created some of the largest and most profitable companies in the technology world. Without these two men the smartphones and computers we have today might be a lot different. Bill Gates founded Microsoft and Steve Jobs was the co-founder of Apple. Bill Gates was one of the original pioneers of software, Job’s the pioneer of personal and handheld computers. Bill Gates is the founders and primary shareholder of Microsoft, which has become the world’s leading software manufacture. â€Å"The complex relationship between Bill Gates and Steve Jobs began in the late 1970s, when Microsoft was making most of its money writing software for the Apple II. When Jobs began developing the original Macintosh in the early 1980s, he wanted Microsoft to create for it a version of BASIC, an easy-to-use programming language, as well as some application software, such as word processing, charts, and spreadsheet programs.
